Calculus, who needs it?

Here is a mathematician with a different concept on how we should teach math.

    Ouch! I would not go so far as to say we do not need Calculus...we need ALL the maths including stats. Being able to model includes all these maths. One does not have to be fluent in all...just able to speak the language when necessary.
